EWA - VCWiki

The Euro-American (Electronic) Wrestling Association is an online e-Federation created on July 31st, 2007 by Marcus and Rhona O'Conner (Kent Klausner & Kat Bayless). The original concept for the EWA was to plant the seeds of a worldwide phenomena of wrestling entertainment. Drawing talent from all over the world, the EWA has the potential to become one of the biggest promotions in wrestling history.

In 2007, Rhona and Marcus O'Conner were originally hired by a promotion known as the VCW (Virtual Championship Wrestling), by the Chairman, Alex Remis. They were hired as the General Managers of the promotion's two main events, Monday Night Showdown and Thursday Night Brawl. It was a job they were both very enthusiastic about. They had history in the building of a promotion from their years in the SWF (Scottish Wrestling Federation), before it was bought by the European Alliance Association. In late July 2007, the O'Conners felt they had a different vision and goal for the promotion, so they decided to strike out on their own on a little "side project". It was on that day the EWA was born.

It wasn't built to be competition with the VCW, but to provide another form of entertainment for the fans on a completely separate night of the week. Some of the talent is shared between both promotions, competing on both shows during the week. The EWA hopes to work hand-in-hand to create the best wrestling entertainment imaginable to all the fans of this fine sport.

The EWA is set in almost the exact same world as the VCW. The VCW conciders the EWA to be a "spin off" show and thusly does allow EWA wreslers to compete in te VCW. The VCW also recognizes the EWA titles, it does not however allow the EWA belts to be competed for in the VCW at this time.

The VCW does not allow EWA advertisements on the VCW forum.
