History: Born December 25, 1952 Jack Kelly was the son of the West Coast Championship Wrestling Federation chairman. Growing up in a wrestling family, Jack was pushed to be the best. On Jacks 7th birthday he began training in “the hole”, a wrestling school much like that of the legendary Stu Hart. Known as “Jackie Boy” to the older wrestlers the name infuriated him and he would often lash out at his taunters. Jack pushed himself harder and harder to be the best wrestler in “the hole” adopting the name “Jackie boy” as a way to motivate him self to be the best. In 1969 “Jackie Boy” had his wrestling debut in the WCCWF and won against “Howlin’ Mad” Peter Murphy in 1 minute and 37 seconds. It was the start of a long and brilliant career. In 1973 Jack won the WCCWF Heavyweight title and immediately jump promotions over to the South West Championship Wrestling Federation owned by his fathers long time friend Scott Forman. This was used as a chance to close the WCCWF as Jacks father’s health was failing and did not want to continue operating the promotion. The SWCWF took over all of the contracts and titles of the WCCWF in a storyline that had “Jackie Boy” turn heel for the very first time. “Jackie Boy” Kelley would compete for and win the SW-CWF Heavyweight Championship title 17 times in the next 24 years and would hold 32 total SW-CWF titles and a career total 39 titles in 28 years. Jack retired from the ring in 1997 at the age of 45. He was inducted into the SW-CWF Hall of fame in 1998 and went on to commentate for the them until the promotion folded in 2003. In 2005 Jack was approached by Scott Forman with a proposition to commentate for a new promotion to be known as the VCW. When Forman died in 2006 Jack offer to work for the Alex Remis in the VCW for free. He is now working as a heel commentator for Monday Night Showdown and Pay Per Views.
