Charlie Troy Born Charles Draven Troy to Elaine and Tomas Troy in 1977. Charles and his twin brother Paul were the only sons of an ex-marine and a school teacher. They were born in Detroit but move a lot in their early years until the family settled in Charlotte North Carolina.

At the age of 8, the boys discovered professional wrestling and were instantly hooked. They began training together at 10 and were convinced they would be the greatest tag team in wrestling history.

When the boys turned 14, they began training at "the Hole". They were among the youngest wrestlers to ever attend this legendary school.

By age 16 Charles adopted the name Kaster and Paul took on the mythical twin’s name, Pollox and they wrestled their first match against the “Flash Knights” just out side of Charlotte in the Confederate Championship Wrestling Association.

By age 18, Kaster had moved to Atlanta Georgia to join in the Southern Wrestling Alliance while Pollox began wrestling for the Mid West Championship Wrestling Federation. Kaster quickly made a name for himself as a high flying, risk taking wild man.

He won his first light heavyweight title at the age of 19 and created a hardcore division in the SWA. But his run in the SWA was to be short lived as on April 3rd, 1997, Kaster injured his neck while performing a high risk leap from a 22 foot ladder. He spent the next two years in the hospital recovering.

In late 1999, Kaster began working out again, trying to regain his muscle mass. His grit and determination paid off in 2000 when he auditioned for a spot on the MWCWF roster and managed to win a number one contender spot before he was even signed.

In 2001, Kaster won the MWCWF World Heavyweight title. He was instructed to lose the belt only two weeks later. Pollox had returned to the roster and the MWCWF officials wanted to promote their Tag Team division. In 2002, Kaster and Pollox; now known as the “Sons of Troy”; won the MWCWF Tag Team titles with the help of their manager Helen. The would go on to hold the belts three more times over the next five years for a total of 1334 days.

Kaster Troy - VCWikipaintIn late 2002, the MWCWF opened their hardcore division and Kaster swept the twelve man hardcore tournament to become the first MWCWF Hardcore champion. He held the belt for 287 days. He won the belt two more times in two years holding it for over 75 days each time.

In 2004, Kaster asked the MWCWF to create a new hardcore division called the “Hell” division. This would be a hardcore division for hardcore wrestlers. In the very first match ten men entered the 15 foot high capped steel cage for a KO/I Quit battle royal. Kaster defeated seven of the nine other wrestlers before facing off against Sergio Flair. He knocked Sergio out with a fantastic toss of the top of the cage into the announcers table.

Kaster became the first ever Hell’s Champion. He would hold this title for 345 days before losing it to his brother Pollox in a still controversial match. Kaster took a dive in order to lose the belt so he would qualify for the MWCWF World Heavyweight belt but the GM told him he could not contend for the belt do to his “poor performance in the ring”. Kaster regained the Hell belt which he held until leaving the MWCWF for the VCW.

In June of 2007 Charlie joined the VCW. He was slated to continue the Kaster character and push the Revolution X stable. In August of 2007 he and Pollox, now known as the Regulators, became the VCW Tag Team Champions. Kaster won the VCW World Championship in September of that year. This was not to last though. In December of 2007 Kaster lost the World title to Cody black in a triple threat ladder match at the “End of Days” PPV. During that match he suffered a injury to his right knee and lower back. He was scheduled to compete the following night against Johnny Phoenix for the Hell belt. During this match the injury to his knee was exacerbated and Kaster lost the belt. Charlie then took time off of the VCW to recover from his injuries.

Kaster Troy - VCWikipaintCharlie returned to the ring at the Retribution PPV in January of 2008. The Revolution X angle was pushed hard at that event and Kaster spray painted the PPV sign with a red X. The PPV was then known as Retribution X.

In March of 2008 Charlie joined a tag team with long time friend John Trudeau to form The Mavericks.
Charlie has suffered multiple absences from the VCW due to persistent injuries but returned to full active status in late August 2008. Charlie, Alex, John, Paul and several others had begun working on a new storyline where the GWA “invaded” and attempted to take control of the VCW. Paul suggested that Pollox turn on Kaster during a tag team match and create a feud between the two. Charlie was very excited as it was the first time in his career that he was given a change to feud with his brother and he immediately jumped at the idea. In late August, one week after Kasters return to the ring, Pollox, Phoenix and Marley attacked Kaster and Pollox joined the GWA. In early September 2008 Kaster began a new gimmick as a “lone wolf” that was working for neither the VCW nor the GWA.

In January 2009, two weeks after his long time protégé Cameron Marley was shot and killed in after a show in Hershey Pennsylvania, Charlie decided to take the character is a slightly different tact and reformed “Revolution X”. This time around things were different. Only Kaster remained from the original Revolution X. Instead he added two new talents to the RX list…Dannie “Mad Dogg” Gunn and Julia “Lace” Winters, a husband and wife tag team known as “Motor City Mayhem”.

He heads down towards the ring playing to the crowd. Once at ring side, Kaster climbs the stairs onto the apron.
