Nicolas "Griff" Griffin is Marcus O'Conner's executive assistant.

Nicolas Griffin was born August 15th, 1977 in Lairg, Scotland to Malcolm and Fiona Griffin. He had a very innocent, yet very short childhood. In 1983, his parents were killed in an auto accident and Nicolas was sent to live with his uncle, a brawler from the Highland Fighters Association known as Ronan MacLeod.

Nicolas did not adjust well at first to his new surroundings. Ronan sent Nicolas off to school as soon as possible, but it was very shortlived. In his first day in the new school, Nicolas instigated four fights, causing three black eyes, six missing teeth and a broken arm, to his opponents. Nicolas himself walked out unscathed. Needless to say, he was expelled from the school. Ronan decided to make the decision as guardian to cease sending Nicolas to school, because he knew his nephew would be a fighter. So Nicolas began training under Ronan.

In 1994, Nicolas was recruited to the Scottish Wrestling Foundation by Kier VanDieman. He was one of the youngest fighters to be recruited, but he quickly gained the respect of his fellow fighters due to his "wolverine-like" fighting style. Nicolas remained undefeated until 2003, when he received his first loss at the hands of the SWF Champion, Marcus O'Conner.

Shortly after the SWF was integrated into the European Alliance Association, Nicolas was forced into early retirement due to what the EAA referred to as "unnecessary force used in competition" as well as "an unusually high track record of injury to others". It was shortly after that Nicolas was contacted by Marcus O'Conner. O'Conner had become the General Manager of a wrestling promotion in the United States known as the VCW. Nicolas immediately moved over to the States to assist Marcus in the running of the promotion.
