Very little is known about the large Mesopotamian known as Paradox. Some believe it is not even his real name. There is no doubt, however that he is a large and dominate force to be reckoned with. He stands as the tallest member of the VCW, amongst the superstars and staff.

Nothing is known of his actual parentage, but he claims to have come from the ancient land known as Mesopotamia. He has claimed not to have actually known his parents, but that he was raised by a great war general and when his coming of age ceremony arrived, he was given that tattoos that he now bears on his face.

Before the fall of the Mesopotamian Empire, Paradox was visited by a traveler known as Caspian Celette. This traveler would then bring him to America, where he would learn of a new warfare that did not require loss of life or domination of territory, but that one could compete in a sort of games. So, Paradox, along with Caspian and his traveling companion Aether, set off for the independent wrestling circuit.

In 2007, they were approached by Alex Remis and were recruited to join the VCW. Paradox's debut came on June 30th, 2007 at a house show, when he was introduced as a member of the tag team known as "Causality" and a stablemate with Caspian and Aether in "The Ancients". Since then, he has been dominate with his size and stature, destroying everything in his path, leaving no man the same.

After engaging in a bitter rivalry with Johnny Phoenix during which the two feuded over who was the most firey superstar in the VCW, Paradox kidnapped Phoenix's girlfriend Laci Giminano and attempted to use her for leverage. Laci was suspended above the stage during the burning cell match at Summer Heat. After defeating Paradox, Phoenix handcuffed him to the still burning cell and rescued Laci from her precarious position. While the audience watched in shock, the cell in the center of the arena exploded. Once firefighters were able to douse the blaze, there remained no evidence of the cage, the cell, the ring or Paradox. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are still pending.

Accomplishments

Moves
Paradox is a brawler who uses his muscular physique and solid stature to dominate his opponents. He is very hard to knock over.

Setup Move

• "Getting Familiar" - He stomps his foot on the ground slowly, his breath getting heavier. His stomps get faster until he lets out a bellow and lifts his opponent into "Deja Vu".

Finishers

• "Deja Vu" - A standing double powerbomb.

• "Ancient Ways" - A modified camel clutch. He sits on the back of his prone opponents legs and pulls them into a full nelson, leaning back for a submission.

Trademark Moves

• "The Lifeline" - He lifts his opponent high above his head and drops them onto the rope, catching them in the stomach. He then uses a foot to push them out of the ring.

Ring Entrance
The entire arena goes dark and the music starts to play, followed by strobe lights. Finally as the first "Drop the Bombshell" hits, a concussion explosion rocks the stage and Paradox appears behind it. He stalks out to the ring, grabbing the top rope and pulling himself over and he moves to the center of the ring. With each "bombshell" a concussion explodes.
