Tanden Fearse Teresa Ferrara, aka "Tanden Fearse", was born November 23rd, 1984 in Chicago, Illinois. Her Father, Lorenzo Ferrara, is a name partner at Bates, Ferrara, Kirkland and Parillo. Her Mother, Catalina Ferrara, is a homemaker. She has two older brothers, Marco and Gregorio (Mark and Greg), who, as a child, she idolized. When her brothers started taking karate lessons, little Tess wanted to join them but her mother insisted that the martial arts were “boy stuff” and that Teresa should focus on her ballet and gymnastics lessons. She excelled at both, winning starring roles in local productions and taking several prizes in various competitions around the country but the martial arts still dangled like forbidden fruit, just out of reach, and held her interest and fascination long after both her brothers had tired of karate and moved on to other sports. However, her first true introduction to the martial arts would have to wait until her freshman year of high school when she was permitted to enroll in a three week “Self-Defense for Girls” class through the school.

Her instructor for the class was Lesley Medina, a master of Akido, Judo and Jujutsu. Teresa stayed after every session to ask questions and learn more and impressed Lesley with her skill, enthusiasm and determination. When the class ended, Lesley offered to take her on as a private student and her parents agreed to allow it (though her mother was less than pleased) so long as it didn’t interfere with her school work. Teresa learned quickly and by the time she graduated from high school (with honors) she had surpassed many of the black belts attending Lesley’s Academy. She had no lack of college options but chose, instead, to take a year off and focus on her training with Lesley while taking over teaching some of the beginner’s classes at the Academy. During this time, she was also introduced to Lesley’s son Christopher, better known to the world as MWCWF’s “Senor Cyclone”. There was an immediate connection between the two and they began dating.

After several months of trying to maintain a long-distance relationship it was decided that the only way for the romance to survive would be for Teresa to join Chris on the road. She began appearing as his valet, taking as her ring name her family’s affectionate pet name for her, “Princess Tess.”

For 8 months she put on the skimpy little outfits and posed and preened at ringside, cheering on her man and running interference in his matches. Then, during a four way ladder match at the January Pay-per-View, Chris suffered an injury to his back that put him out for 6 months. During his rehabilitation, “Princess Tess” began to be used independently as a heel and foil for, then Women’s Champion, Lexy Monroe. Expected now to perform in the ring, Teresa began training with Jae Hiroki “The Osaki Whirlwind” where she learned to put her training in martial arts, gymnastics, and even dance to use, melding it all into a versatile wrestling style.

Unfortunately, her “spoiled princess” gimmick did not encourage much real ring action, and she was placed primarily in matches geared toward sex appeal; bra and panties matches, lingerie pillow fights, ect. She held the women’s title for 3 months during a plot line in which she hired some muscle to rough up her competition before her matches but lost the title to Lexy at the July Pay-per-View when Senor Cyclone returned and interfered in the match, accusing his former princess of infidelity and putting Tess through a table. The angle mirrored a reverse of the troubles the couple was experiencing outside of the ring, as during his rehabilitation, Chris had become romantically involved with his personal trainer.

After their split Teresa rode out the remainder of her MWCWF contract as a manager for various tag teams, only rarely being allowed to truly compete in the ring herself. When her contract came up for renegotiation and it was suggested that both her salary and creative control would increase were her cup size to do the same, Teresa opted not to renew the contract. Instead she called up her friend, John Trudeau (aka. Johnny Aces/Phoenix), another dissatisfied former MWCWF employee, and asked him to introduce her to Alex Remis. After a few test matches at house shows to get a feel for her skill and ring presence, she was offered a VCW contract, which she happily accepted.

Ring Entrance
The lights dim on the opening baseline of "Seven Nation Army". As the drums kick in, Tanden Fearse steps out, wearing a newsboy cap and pausing for a moment at the entrance with her hands on her hips. She looks over the crowd with a small smile on her lips before starting down toward the ring as red and yellow ramp lights strobe in time to the beat.

She plays to the crowd as she goes; blowing a kiss to the young boys near the ramp, placing her hat on the head of a young girl and reaching the ring as the song begins to build to a crescendo. She walks along the ring apron to the middle of the ropes and hooks her arms on the top rope.

She leans her back against the ropes, looking out at the crowd with a smile before leaning back over the top rope and flipping backwards into the ring. She walks to the center of the ring with her hands raised as the crescendo roars through the arena and a shower of sparks cascades over the ring.
