J. A. Sawyer is a former military man and dabbled in Karate before beginning training for Pro-Wrestling 3 years ago. Working primarily at factories for work, he is very comfortable in his wrestling gimmick. He became a well-known independent wrestler in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, but has little experience or fame outside of those states.

Wrestlers Basic Description: Sawyer is short and stocky compared to many wrestlers. He is strong, but not muscular and cut, with a bit of extra weight around the middle and thick legs. Generally he wears his hair short, with an unshaven face. He wears a full factory uniform with soft-soled workboots. His uniform normally includes dark blue lycra slacks, a light blue, short-sleeved button down shirt with a tag reading "Sawyer" above his left breast pocket, and wears a grey helmet to the ring, though he only uses the helmet as a weapon in extreme circumstances. Sometimes he wears a two-toned blue singlet that matches the uniform instead of the work clothes, and he wears the singlet underneath the uniform. He is Caucasian with medium brown hair and blue eyes.

Wrestlers Style: Sawyer uses an all-around, old school style, often targeting and working on a particular limb or area of the body throughout the match. He generally mixes technical wrestling with moves that get his opponents on the mat, then uses his weight to drop on and wear down his opponent. Although not really a high flyer and certainly no acrobat, Sawyer can and will go to the top rope several times in a match. He mixes in some power wrestling as well, but moves that benefit from his strong legs and low center of balance, not moves that depend on upper body strength. Despite his heavy frame, Sawyer has great stamina and the ability to absorb a great deal of punishment, sometimes outlasting an opponent who doesn't expect a fat man to last so long.
